You are invited to our fundraiser for Points of Diversity. We are happy to report that we have made a difference in the Roanoke Valley over the past 4 years. We have trained 30 facilitators to conduce small dialogue groups called Study Circles, Provided 2 valley-wide Youth Summits and held 18 Cycles of community Dialogue on difficult issues. All this has been done with no staff and an all volunteer board. In order to meet the requests for more education, training and opportunities to have conversations we need to raise the funds to grow.. Please support our Fundraiser “A Taste of Diversity” with guest speaker Jonathan Zur, President and CEO of Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities. We will offer “tastings” of local ethnic foods and beverages. Donations: $500 Benefactor, $250 Sponsor. $100 Patron, $50 Friend and $25 Guest. Event takes place on March 22 from 5-7 pm at the Harrison Museum of African American Culture in Center in the Square. Questions or more info: Call 540-525-1245 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
